My name is Wycliffe Munga Mkangi. I have joyfully served at Word of Life Christian Academy for eight years. During this period we have continued to grow in leaps and bounds. We not only have produced some of the best performing students in Kwale County, but have also helped mould better citizens.
With the guidance from our motto; a future and a hope, our school has been a haven of peace, academic excellence and equal opportunity.

Welcome to Word of Life Christian Academy Kenya. This is a unique institution that for a long time has shown and proved its full commitment in achieving excellence in every aspect of human life. This is seen in how our school has continuously and consistently improved its programmes, services and approaches to cater for and suite the daily needs and the emerging issues in current society.The school has high reputation for quality education and academic excellence, which has been achieved through strict curricular and co-curricular activities.
The school also offers training in leadership and personality development by emphasizing on teamwork and unity among the school community. Although it has diverse cultures, social, economic and religious members, the emphasis on unity and love based on moral teachings has kept us going. It is a nice place to be and work. I like the school and will do my best to make it achieve its goals.
I am Mr. Mwangi in charge of the school Academic programmes that include school timetables, exams, organizing for subject panel meetings and school debates and so on.
It is a tough task taking into account the high academic standards that the school has set for many years and in trying to maintain them. Word of Life Christian Academy has been posting excellent results in National exams (K.C.P.E). Last year, for instance, we had sixteen candidates who joined national secondary schools. This is brought about by the high level of discipline in the school, hard work, sacrifice, good teacher-pupil relationship and trust in God.
I have been in the school for seventeen years and I’ve seen many students passing through my hands and progressing to high levels of learning.
The school is very special. It has high standards of discipline and excellence in academics. Most pupils who pass through our school secure places in our Kenya National schools.
The school has programmes for spiritual growth, games and sports. Being the games master, children always excel to National levels. As a school we offer guidance and counseling to our young learners to enable them cope with the challenging world. Our motto is ‘’making that difference’’ and that is what we are!
Word of Life Christian Academy is the best institution I have ever been since my teaching years. Apart from giving quality education to pupils, it helps them to grow up spiritually and with high self-esteem. At word of life, we make everything possible for our pupils. We build their talents through different co-curricular activities and their confidence too.
Thanks to the principal Mrs. Karanja and our directors who have made the environment conducive for teachers, workers and pupils. This is the best place for any pupil who wishes to have a successful life in future. Kudos to Word of life Christian Academy.
I teach in upper primary classes majoring in excelling in sciences. Word of Life Christian Academy has excellent hard working staff both teaching and non-teaching who believe in performance both academics and co-curricular activities. We believe on the marks that take our candidates to good National schools evidenced from last year’s K.C.P.E 2012.
As Christian we build moral values of Christianity on our pupils, which has enabled our pupils disciplined with high standards of good behavior. We trust in God and have good news every Monday and on Fridays we have chapel for spiritual nourishment.
I believe in teamwork, which is given the first priority in the school, as we keep ever being the best in the larger Kwale County. As Christians we mould pupils who are able to face the world challenges with ease. It’s a school of hope and a future.
I’m sincerely grateful of the school. It is a nice school which produces all-round learners in both curricular and co-curricular activities. The pupils normally excel in their final examinations and secure better places in the National schools.
Being a Christian school, it also helps the pupils, the teachers and the other workers grow spiritually. Through the guidance and counseling offered in the school, the pupils are able to face the life challenges in and after school. It’s really a different school with a future and a hope.
I teach in class one at the Word of Life Christian Academy. This is a school with a difference. Besides academics Christian values are emphasized. We always have good news every Wednesday afternoon for lower primary children.
We model learners to be all round by engaging them in co-curricular activities like sports, singing, drama and poetry. We also value cleanliness of our children and our school at large because cleanliness is next to godliness.
Our school is not your everyday kind of school. Some of the things that stand out include; special attention to individual learners, guidance and counseling programmes, chapel on a weekly basis for spiritual nourishment among many others.

I am a staff member of the Word of Life Christian Academy. Our school is aiming at producing students who can be self-reliant in future. This is done through several co-curricular activities that we engage our pupil’s in. this year we were able to produce pupils who were the best in the county in shot put and in relay.
We are also involving them in music. We teach them folk songs, folk dances poems and mashairi. In class we are the best in the whole county. We have produced a good number of students who have joined very good Nationals schools and we always follow their performances in high school. Our students have been accepted in all schools that they join.
We aim to perform well through the co-operation that is taking place in the school. We are and will continue doing our best for the betterment of our pupils.
